When you send out “email blasts” like I mentioned earlier you’re just outrightly showing people that they’re just another email on your list. Email blasts are much less effective than personalised campaign. Again I’m not quoting numbers, but in a study performed by Experian Marketing They found out that personalised subject lines alone, are crucial in successful campaigns. In terms of personalisation, there’s quite a few ways for us to tackle this. Most people just go for the first name and that’s a no brainer and should be used in every campaign as standard. For instance placing their first name in the subject line of them email That method is a sure way to grab their attention even for a second, to get them to engage further.
